"Game is still junk"

Missed the part where it was out to still be anything but...well unreleased/hype train/closed beta. You just sound like a jaded hater man. Take a chill pill and relax. Don't even try to spout some nonsense how you played the beta and it was so trash, and it lacked content. Its a beta for the most part its suppose to be trash because you're weeding out bugs, its suppose to be lacking in content both to not ruin the full experience, and to focus on certain elements, maps, or characters . These aren't demos they are test. Usually focused test and there are many twitch, redditers, and youtubers with a different opinion.

"no singleplayer, not free to play, microtransactions, no character development"

Pulled that one from another comment of yours. All Im gonna say is Team Fortress 2. Similar "limited amount of maps, cartoon shooter" design. Came out in '07 at a $20 entry fee or $60 with the Orange Box. Its 2015 and the game is still running strong with micros and all. Now of course this game didn't release as the monster it is today. It had to build and grow. Its started off pretty simple, no single player, not free to play, and no character development. There's your proof of concept. This isnt some blind blizzard love, I'm actually extremely indifferent toward them as a cooperation; because at the end of the day they dont have the consumers best interest at heart. My only interest in Overwatch is in fact due to how similar it is to Team Fortress, and the hundreds of hours of fun I had on it with friends. But I had to call a hater on being just that, a hater, for no real reason. Let the thing come out and be trash then talk about how trash it is, because it very well might be trash. You talking like you're inside the development right now and you know all the details.
